We are Idealists
We come from different walks of life, living locales, economic statuses, etc. but we have one thing in common: a love for the North Oregon Coast. First as your neighbors, it breaks our hearts to see the tension that has existed in the past between residents and those who choose to use their home as a short term rental. We want to do our part to make things better for all of us. We can see a future, in our optimism, where residents welcome short term rentals because they understand their growing importance to the region, and because issues are properly managed and travelers and owners have the education they need to be successful neighbors. We also see that future where travelers, who do have many other options, continue to choose the North Oregon Coast for their leisure destination because of its welcoming local environment.
